Update: New radiator, transmission rebuild, water pump, timing belt and thermostat all replaced -- new price? $1963.:roadkill: Gonna go pick her up now, I'll update again with a report on how she drives now.

Yeah, then again they didn't tell me they were putting in a water pump or replacing the timing belt until halfway into the job. She runs like brand new now - I forgot how tight new 4Runner transmissions really are (or were). No more hesitation while shifting, smoother shifts and crisper pickup with the ECT button on.
