After market inverter install with a factory-ish look

Hey guys,
I have been reading this forum for about 2 weeks and I will have to say I have gotten tons of useful info on 4runners… Last week I just bought my first 4runner… I absolutely love it.. I have an 04 SR5 4WD. For my first mod on the car I wanted to install an aftermarket inverter. My plan is to hardwire the inverter to the battery and I purchased the factory AC 115v button which should be here soon. I was going to install about 4 outlets throughout the truck. I bought some snap in receptacles from here SNAP-IN NEMA 15-5 RECEPTACLE | AllElectronics.com .
Now my only problem is not knowing how to switch on the inverter using the factory switch. Installed on the inverter is a toggle switch. Now I have included a picture of the interworking of the inverter… I has hoping some awesome electrical gurus would be able to help me out on this.. I was going to post a write-up after I am done with the mod.

Can you just leave the toggle switch turned on, and switch the power going to the inverter?

Use the factory switch to turn on a relay that is connected to the positive lead on the inverter. You don't want to run any real power through the factory switch.

ya i can leave the switch on... so the best bet would be to buy a relay? YA putting any sort of power through the switch was not an option.. i dont want to start fires..

ya i was just trying to see if there was a way to use the factory switch on the inverter. I thought maybe there was a way to do it by disabling the switch that came with it and using the factory one to switch it on and off..

I don't like messing with the internals of electronics unless I have to. That design is probably UL rated and went through all sorts of safety tests.

Switching the power could be an issue if their were cooling fans or something else that would run even when it was switched off, but I don't see anything like that.

ya me neither..I was not going to attempt anything unless it was sanctioned by others.. I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to electrical stuff. I will try the relay route and see how that goes. Thanks for your help
