Air on Board Switches...why no blue for 2016 model?

So im confused why is there no blue led option for the 2010-up for 4runner switches? Any other source to buy blue led switches that go in the factory locations?

They have been making blue switches, amber switches, and red/green switches forever, well years anyway. All of their switches sell out often... and... they get more made.

So im assuming they take them off the website when they are sold out and then add them back when they get more? I just went and clicked 2010-on blue/blue and it says no products found. If i click blue/blue momentary it comes up with one. I would have imagined if they sold them they would just show sold out.

I had to settle for a different color switch, HOWEVER, I have an extra blue/blue zombie light one. I will take the camera faceplate off that, and use it on the blue/blue I currently have. I got lucky, as I am not going to wait 3-4 weeks!

Waiting isn't going to be a problem for me, even though the reverse camera dongle will be here Monday. Checked for a status update on my new 4Runner that was supposedly already on a boat two weeks ago. Now the dealer says it was just built three days ago. @$&(@$ dealer!

Too bad we can't put them on backorder to be sure to get in on the next batch.

I see you already got the answer, yes, they do. Their website is a simple storefront template run by a couple of folks, I wouldn't expect super accurate inventory listings and pre-order dates for new stock, I mean they could do that at the expense of someones sanity, it is just way easier to hide the listing and they do sell a lot of switches.

Hey guys, I have 3 blue on/off AOB switches that I am not using. Full disclosure, I emailed AOB because I had a switch that was sticking (Low Beer Alarm) and they sent me replacements for 3 of my switches. The Low Beer Alarm switch still feels weak, but the main issue is that it was hanging up on my dash trim. I adjusted it and it started to work fine.

I was going to hold onto these for when my Brother-In-Law gets the bug to start modding his 4Runner, but it hasn't happened yet. So these are up for sale to anyone interested.

I will sell all 3 for $60 shipped CONUS, Firm. You are basically getting 1 free switch. All are Blue on/off style switches.

Off-Road Lights
Spy Mode
Low Beer Alarm (a little weak, but works)

AOB Alternative

For another source for blue switches for the 2014+:

I just received a blue push button almost identical to the AOB switch from Cruiserheads. The switch is made by "CH4x4". You can get these in different combinations from Cruiserheads or from Amazon.

They are basically the same, except that the AOB switches are less rounded in the corners.

In the pictures, the center camera switch is the Cruiserheads switch. The outer AOB.

Just be sure to get the switches that the face is ~32.54 x 22mm.

They both feel about equally cheaply made. :lmao:
