1991 3.0 4runner 4wd 5sp
I had a refurbished engine installed 35,000 miles ago the Dorman fan bracket pulley is in need to be replaced. After searching for the best replacement Aisin is the manufacturer of choice. They list two part numbers for the 3.0 FBT-006 and FBT-007. The Toyo DIY site list different part numbers also depending of build date 16307-65020/03/040/050. The currant bracket pulley does not align correctly it is offset by a 1/4 inch. This is the reason I did the electric fan mod. but now that pulley is failing.
I dont know what year my replacement engine is from so the build date of my truck isn't relevant ( 10/91) to which Aisin bracket would fit.
Does any one know what the difference is between the 3.0 motors?and the corresponding Aisin fan bracket? I could buy both and return the unused one . Amazon has them for sale for $ 88 (FBT-007)

What of the bracket delete? I haven't seen a write up of what that would entail or if it is a feasible option.
