Alignement at 3500 miles?? Road hazard warranty on new tires??? Help

Alignment can be "off" straight from the factory. If there is indication like tire wear, or pulling to one side etc. Have them check it. Insurance is insurance. The road hazard is good if you are going off roading. The cost does not seem to high. Your call.

no alignment and no road hazard. they said the toe was off a bit, and wanted the usual $79 to do an alignment, even thoug the guy told me it would only take 10 minutes.
The tires are sweet, and i'll just head to toyota for my one free alignment at the 5000 mile mark.
Oh, and I sold my stock tires for $450!!

I have always done the road hazard for mine (although i know you already opted out of it). I have a little over 12k on mine and have picked up 4 flats already! That is more than I had with my last vehicle with 150k!
My 2 cents: I bought some Nitto Tera Grapplers and i got
the road hazard insurance at Americas Tire. I got 2 nails
while off roading in the same tire. I paid only $20 to have
a near $200 replaced no questions asked. I would say its
worth it.
On the alignment, mine was off straight from the dealership.
It would pull right and send me drifting in that direction. It
wasn't off by alot but worth having checked. Its pulling right
again but then again i hit some funky terrain. I'm wondering
if its very easy to knock it out of alignment? Its my 1st 4x4
so i'm not sure if 4x4 vehicles require more frequent alignments?

I have Destinations AT, when I purchased the tires I bought both the road hazard warranty and life time alignment.
Don't recall the hazards cost, but the life time rotation and alignment was about $175. I think it's a bargain as I take it in for rotation & alignment every 4 months or so. At $80 just for an alignment you are in the black after your second job.

I had the lifetime alignment on my Xterra when I get the Destinations for it, and I had it done every time I went for a rotation. I think I will use the free one from Toyota at 5K miles and then at 10K, go get the lifetime from tiresplus.

i got the same story from a firestone dealer when i had my destinations put on. never seemed to have any issues, and the 4runner definitely doesn't "pull" one way or the other.
like you, i'll wait to get it aligned at my 5k mile service.
