So how come President Obama hasn't come out denouncing the actions of the riots in Wisconsin?

He is so quick to judge people without facts and get on TV with a grandiose speech when it fits his narrative and agenda/bias, but when black people are rioting over a felon getting shot for pointing a stolen gun at an officer and not complying and the rioters are beating up white people for the color of their skin- crickets...

So we have a stolen gun being pointed at an officer, perp not complying and he gets shot (Textbook good shoot)- but portions of the local community decides to get stupid and get their backasswards point across by lighting cop cars on fire, throwing bricks at LEO's and finding white people to beat up.

Amazing that these folks loot and burn their own city's down, as if that will somehow solve anything or affect positive change of stereotypes...

This nation is a powder keg right now, the right spark and it's gonna go.

The fix was in for Clinton before Trump was even running.

I've been saying Hillary would be the next POTUS since the day after Obummer got elected the second time. How he got a second term is just insane to me, but I guess it just shows where we are at in this country.

I still vote, but it is painfully obvious it only counts on the local level. Electoral college has it in the bag for whomever pulls the purse strings. This year it is Klinton.

so, military and infrastructure? something that actually would be the governments responsibility. perhaps that's where they need to keep their interests, and not in private business. though, the amount of money that was spent on those things, im not sure they could be deemed a success. plus all the other areas they have failed. The government has done a pretty good job over the years of keeping the country safe, when you consider the threats we've faced. There have absolutely been mistakes, but this whole notion that we should scrap it and resort to anarchy is just a load of crap.

What's happening right now is a power shift, and it's messy. As the country becomes more diversified, the white Christian right is losing their grip on the government, and they're going out like a kicking, screaming toddler being dragged from a birthday party.

The last seven years the Republican party has been the party of obstructionism. They refuse to govern. They refuse to set a budget. They've shut the government down once and threatened to do it again because they can't get their way. They've done absolutely nothing but bash the president, and put up unprecedented road blocks to prevent him from being able to govern. But that comes with a cost, because when you try to make the government ineffective, you hurt LOTS of people, even ones who would otherwise support you.

The whole birther movement was an absolute circus, and Republican leadership should have condemned it from the start. It was against Obama though, so they fanned the flames. Then when it almost died out, Trump decided to become the ringmaster of that circus (and ended up looking like a fool for it). The problem is, now it's not Obama that's jumping through hoops, it's the Republicans that sat back and enjoyed the show back in 2011.

What goes around comes around, and when you're the "do nothing party" eventually it's going to bite you.

The good thing is, eventually that kicking screaming toddler DOES get dragged out the door, and everyone else is better off for it. Without a massive restructuring, the Republican party has won their last Presidential election. This one's already lost, and the next one will be too if they don't stop catering to the ignorant.

If you say you can't stand Hillary, but voted for Trump in a primary, you're a fool. He's the ONE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE that had absolutely no shot at beating her.

What it shows is that you don't understand the country. You don't win Presidential elections anymore with the angry male white vote. If you want a seat at the table, you come to the middle where the majority is.

Obama got elected a second time because the people who opposed them were too busty catering to people like you, who know more about making up stupid names like a child on a playground than about actually governing.


Obama didn't just win the electoral college, he won the popular vote BOTH TIMES.

It come from when Hillary was being questioned regarding Benghazi and the deaths of 4 Americans. Why she lied multiple times regarding the cause of the start of the attack. Was this because of some guys out for a walk or was it because of a protest about a movie.

you completely missed the point. but im not surprised. the governments job IS to protect this country, I would hope they were able to do it.
the issue is all the other bullshit they are trying to do that is NOT their job.

they shut the government down, and it should have stayed shut down. they do not have the money to operate. them shutting it down was a GOOD thing.
but, the republicans are all to blame. with an attitude like that, no wonder we are paddling up this shit creek right now.

They didn't shut the government down to stop spending. They shut it down to stop paying debts we ALREADY OWE.

This would be the equivalent of you running up a credit card and then not paying the bill in order to control your spending. You control spending through the budget, NOT the debt limit. Defaulting on our debts would have ruined our credit rating and cost a fortune. It takes a real moron to buy that BS.

In was a statement regarding the cause of the situation, not the deaths of the people involved, and it was in response to an absolutely idiotic line of questioning and about 4 hours into a witch hunt. Hillary pummeled those idiots.
