During the spring of '13, I started hearing a chirp-like noise underneath the front of my '12 TE when I was driving. Because I never drove it much and it was intermittent, I never bothered to take it in to the dealer. I turned the radio up or rolled down the windows. Overtime, the noise became constant since I started driving it more but was still relunctant to take it to the dealer. Since it was still under warranty, I decided to take it to my dealer 2 weeks ago. I finally had my appointment yesterday. In the past, I have never had good luck taking a vehicle to a dealer for a noise diagnosis. I went on a test drive with the mechanic. He heard the noise right away and I didn't feel like I was hearing things. I was amazed. After an hour, he was able to find the noise. He had to install foam and new fasteners to the left front apron seals. It worked and the noise is gone. I will probably never get lucky again like this, but that's ok. I was lucky this time.
