Another Bilstein 5100 question

Here's mine with bilstein front at 1.75 and SAW rear coils. I can say that it has definitely improved the ride quality.. less body roll and brake dive.

Currently only has 100 miles so rear has yet to settle. I also have 3rd row and will be adding a storage drawer.

The way I see it, I have two options:
1. Lower the front to OEM spec.
2. Modify the rear. But how?

I assume that a spacer in the rear will work, but which spacer to I get with the '85" setting? I don't mind slight forward lean. I think 1" is as small as they come?

OME makes 10mm spacers, cornfed and others make 1/2" spacers

I plan on doing 0.85" up front and .5" in rear

Has anyone installed the 5100's @ .85 AND added a T14 (Toytec 1/4") spacer with no lift in the rear? It would seem that this would be perfect for my OCD! The results would still leave a tiny bit of factory rake without going as far as the 1.75 (reverse frame rake) in setting on the Bilsteins. I did find one person who was contemplating it but never found out if they followed through.

From research here, I found the lift ratio on the T4R's to be 1.8 x added strut lift dimension.

Meaning:

Bilsteins @ 0.85 will equate to an actual lift of 1.8 x 0.85 = 1.53 in (Too soft...)

Bilsteins @ 1.75 will equate to an actual lift of 1.8 x 1.75 = 3.15 in (Too Hard...)

Bilsteins @ 0.85 + 0.25 (T14) will equate to an actual lift of 1.8 x 1.1 = 1.98 in (Just right...)

Photos of this setup installed would be ideal.

That sounds like a perfect setup IMO - also curious if anyone else has done that. I'm at 0.85" and think 1.75" is a bit too much for my liking (height, plus CV angle and down-travel considerations).

Another 5100 question: I have over 100K on my 5100's now - and they still feel pretty good to me. How many miles are most people getting from their 5100's under normal circumstances (not crazy desert driving or whatever)?

My fronts are 1.75" & my rear has a 2" lift and my short wife (approx 5ft 4" is able to get our 2mo old in and out with the car seat and everything. If I didn't have NFAB side steps she would probably have a very tough time though.

I haven't put the lift on yet, its sitting in the garage, and my 5'3" wife is still barely able to put out 16 month old in the car seat! Big congrats!!

I don't think those are the adjustable fronts. That's why the price may seem low.

Make sure they're in stock before you chunk your cash down ! I'm at 2.5 & have rancho 1.25 rear spacer supposed to be level but rides high (a bit in back) . 2014 brand new fi coils nice ride & I like to drive fast (for an old guy) corners real well & haven't set off any lights yet !

Ok guys, I been reading through this thread and wanted to ask questions and get some thoughts. If I am reading correctly I want to get 2 sets of blistins set the front to 1.75 and get cornfed spacers 1 inch for the rear? Should be these products.

You will have approximately .5" of rake left, by frame measurement, 1" by fender.

Your ride looks great. Those NFAB side steps look amazing and glad to hear they are functional. Congrats on the 2 mo old!
