Another Bilstein 5100 question

I have 5100’s on lowest setting with Wheelers Off-road coil springs up front and rear at 2.5” and 1.5”. Rides great. OME spacers on drivers side to even out the lean.

So after reading this thread for the last couple hours, it all boils down to this for my 2016 KDSS MGM Trail:

1. 5100 front- set to 1.75”
2. 5100 rear- 1.00” cornbred spacer
3. OME rear/drivers side 10 mm spacer for possible lean?***

The spacer location is the only question I have. Doesn’t the cornbred spacer account for the lean, and is the ome yellow spacer supposed to go driver rear or front? The folks at Wheeler’s suggest driver front...but several in here suggest rear?

I recently had 5100’s installed at all 4 corners. Front set at 1.75” and 1” cornfed in the rear. It still had more take than I liked. So I installed 3/8” Wheelers top spacers in the front. Now I love the way it sits. But to kinda answer your question, the Cornfed spacers are side specific and they did away with my lean. At least to the naked eye.
The only thing I don’t like now, is that since I installed the top spacers, it feels like it follows the road more now. Even though I had it realigned. I don’t know why it does that.

I have the 5100's all around and all the way up, confed spacers in rear, 275 60 20 tires. One side is thicker to account for the fuel tank weight so it levels it out. Been on these for a few yrs now. the height is comparable to a new stock f150 or tahoe.

My setup with 6112s in the front and 5100s in the rear with Wheeler T13 1.5" springs.

OME Rear Trim packer 10mm thing I installled on Driver side Rear. My rear driver side is still a little bit lower, even with the trim packer installed, but it helped get closer. Rear Trim Packer thing

Here's 5100s all around. 1.75"/0". Long story short, shop didn't install 0.5" cornfed spacer. Question is should I proceed with the 0.5" cornfed spacer or should I go with 0.75" or 1" cornfed spacer? I think 1" spacer in the rear maybe too high for my taste. I looking for more of a leveled look or slight positive rake. In this pic, I can see the 0.25" negative rake from the nerf bars.

Put the spacer the body and frame aren't parallel so even rake by looks is actually negative which will be exaggerated with a trailer or full trunk. The 5100s help a ton with nose dive so dont let that be a factor

Looks great like it sits! :thumb:

Can you take some front and rear measurements now before you add the spacer? I'm curious what the post Bilstein, pre-spacer results are.

Any pictures of Bilstein 5100 set at 1.75 and 3/4 cornfed spacer in rear?I just bought the 5100 for the rear and 3/4 cornfed spacer for mine. Every picture I seen with the one inch the back looked too high for my taste.

Here is 1.75 front with 3/4” rear cornfed. Stock springs. Stock size tires. I measured the frame and read .5” rake but I’m not confident in my measurements honestly. I def have some rake and I don’t haul many heavy loads so it’s a perfect setup for me and the pups.

Thanks to everyone participating in this thread; helped me make my mind up on what to go with for my needs. My parts came in and now I just need to find the time for install.

Going with the 5100’s, with front set at 1.75, and 1” rear Cornfed spacers.

Can’t wait to finally get her raised. :whoo:

1.75" front 0" rear, I prefer level without the stink bug rear. 275/70/17 tires.

What is the stink bug rear? Here’s my recent set up....5100 front/rear with wheelers springs.
