After reading this entire thread I'm totally sold on this rack... Drilling and all. Count me in for a group buy!
 
I will be saving up for this roof rack! The price even without a group buy is fantastic. Hopefully I can time it right with the next group buy.:party:
 
I have my full length rack on order. Do you have a link to the security Torx and what size are required?

And thanks for the great drilling photos and instructions. My punch set is on its way from Amazon.

Torx w/Pin Tamper Proof Security T-27 Button Cap Screw 18-8 Stainless Steel - 1/4-20 x 1 Qty-25 2 sets for the side bars

M8 x 60mm Pin In Head Torx Screws,304 Stainless Steel Pin Torx Button Head Security Screws,Right Hand Threads,Metric,8-pieces 1 set for the rack mounts I left some with bolts and some with Torx.

I got the prinsu awning brackets but they are massive. I'm going to get some lower profile brackets for the awning and adapt the prinsu brackets to fit the hi lift. This came to me after posting. Thanks for the reply!

I've got a pair of Rhino Rack Foxing awning mounts that I used when mounting my ARB awning to my Subaru Outback's Thule crossbars (sandwiched between crossbar and bike rack clamp.) Once my PrinSu rack arrives, I'm going to see if the offset will clear the side rails to mount the ARB awning. Maybe this could work for the jack?

those also look like a good platform for a couple of quick fist mounts to hold an axe and a shovel....

It might but, but I want a really robust mount for that jack. Its heavy! The Prinsu brackets are beefy. I am going to trim the tops of them down some to lower the profile though.

Anyone used a Gobi ladder while using a Prinsu Rack?
I feel like I may have seen a picture somewhere but cant seem to find it..if there was such a thing.
Ordered my rack a few weeks ago...Know their website says they are behind on orders because of holidays...understandable. Cant wait to join the Prinsu club.

I just installed a Baja Rack ladder. Either one should work. It just looks right with a ladder on it.

I have a Gobi ladder with mine and there's no issue what so ever.

Would you mind posting a photo with your Prinsu Rack & Baja ladder? I've been thinking about getting a Baja Ladder to go with my Prinsu... Did you upgrade your lift gate struts too?
