Another Full-Length Roof Rack Option -PrinSu

I have read this whole thread, and I couldn't find the answer to my question?

Has anyone gotten away with not drilling holes for the front feet on the full rack size, and if so, what was your mounting solution.

Ok, so if no one has used front runner mounts, what are you using to mount shovels, axes, and hi lifts?

How many of you are using front runner accessories for your prinsu? I just pulled the trigger on the prinsu and am seriously contemplating picking up various front runner accessories for the rack. I would love some feedback from people who have gone that route. Have you faced any issues? Anything to think about?

There is very little wind noise from the full rack. It's when you start adding things to it and you lose the arrow-dynamic flow.

I am working on a hi-lift mount set up that runs the ARB awning mounts upside down and has some slight mods to it. Will post up when its done.

To answer the other half of your question I just brought home a couple 4 x 8 sheets of foam. I just had to remove my Maxtraxs first. It went fine BTW.

I like what you did with the clear fairing, how's the mpg with this set up?

With my Gobi I saw a 2-3 mpg drop, curious if this is any less drag.

I really didn't notice much of a difference with the rack, the lift and tires however brought me down to 16.6mpg average.

Would you guys happen to know the height from the bottom of the roof to it's highest point? I'm trying to figure out if it would all fit in my garage. I can't even enter with my Thule Paddle Board mount on top of the factory cross bars.

I cannot install it on my 2016 TEP - there is no way to not hit the shark fin antenna.

I emailed Prinsu about this and Zach replied saying they have a specific crossbar that fits behind the fin.

Curious to see pics. The website instructions show it clearing on the 5th gen when the bar is installed in the rearmost hole (beyond the slot). Mine won't be here for a few days so I have no hands on experience though. I will be kinda ticked if I have to order another bar to fit the car the rack is supposed to fit.

I think the issue is that earlier 5th gen's still had the radio antenna mounted up front, and maybe the '15/'16 made the switch to the shark fin?

That's easy enough. Just drill a new hole behind the last slot on each side. It does not interfere with the hatch or ladder.

Edited: Looking a Blubayou's post it might have another hole back there. I thought I had drilled them out. Possibly the last hole was added since I bought mine. Either way there is room to clear the shark fin.

My shark fin is much larger than the one in your picture. I'll post some pictures when I get a chance...
