Jeez at least take some pitchers of the trail and some of the more technical sections! Water? Seen it. Clouds? Seen that too. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and this beholder wants to see the trail, even if it's blurry. I'll just pretend that it's sweat in my eyes. BTW I rode 6 easy trail miles last night as part of my Rehab so there. "Said I had to go to rehab and I said no no no."

Those pics aren't too far off pal, as I have scars from over 100 stitches in my chin to prove it!

For Xmas one year one of my riding buddies gave me an "Over-the-Bars-Club" sticker and required me to stick it on my headtube. I'm an expert at crashing.

Lowered my Tacoma......


shift knob today.


I took a 5/16 bit and drilled the knob 1" deeper and took about 1/2" off the threads on the shaft. Now it's the perfect height, IMO. No more big-rig look!

This MOD also gained me 250 HP, FYI. :hand:

Nope, sorry!

I got it from a friend's new Tacoma. He went with a billet knob.

how funny, another thread talks about aftermarket shift knobs and i find one that is blue for the warden's tacoma and i want to swap mine out also. never thought of taking her silver knob for my possible new 2014 LE.

The cable had worn through at the hatch a little bit.

However, I know it works because I had a conversation with a truck driver just yesterday- I let him know his trailer lights were out.

Maybe yours is a POS?!

How did this conversation go? I have always wondered how to talk to/through a CB radio to a trucker.

I imagine it went something like this....

Trucker-Trucker 1-9, this is Antman.
You're gonna get a Bear Bite and not be able to call a YL unless you get your disco lights on.
Don't be crossing them zippers now... check your swindle sheet and get on it.

ANTMAN MOD #4


Independent Fog-Light Mod- using the factory switch.

This mod allows you to turn on your fog-lights whenever you choose. You can have the fogs on by themselves, with the DRL, with the Hi-Beams- whenever you want- as long as the ignition is on. If you want to be able to control the fogs anytime, regardless of ignition, the mod is even easier- but- you will probably leave your fogs on and come out to a dead battery. Your choice.

Others have performed this mod, but I don’t think anyone has done it with the original, stalk-mounted fog switch. I tried to cut as few wires as possible (only 2), so more people may be willing to take the plunge(?)

This is the location for the factory fog-light feed. PLUG 2D, PIN#9 from EWD

This is the wire- white with silver specs. This wire will “feed” the fog lamps.

Hi! I came across your thread while searching google for some info/wiring diagrams for my 2000 runner. I know I'm comparing apples and oranges here, but I'm wondering if you have any insight on how to do this mod on a 2000?

I (hopefully) would just like to use the switch only (column stalk), as I have a complete wire harness that was supplied with the led bar I purchased. Also, I would like to have the ability to switch it on or off regardless of the DRL's or beam position, so I guess my question is more about wiring. I don't want to hack up my system too much if it can be avoided, and I noticed you did quite well with it. I also don't need to have the fog light indicator come one since I'm pretty sure that 120w light bar will be noticable :roadkill:

Any info/direction you could point me to would be greatly appreciated!! :thanks:
