Any way to disable alarm but keep key less entry?

I tried searching and I wasn't able to find much. I am wondering if there is any way I can disable the alarm but still keep the key less entry. I have the RS3000 VIP system but there isn't any sort of switch near the fuse box to disable the system and I don't even know if there is a fuse I can pull to disable it.

The alarm has a mind of its own and will go off randomly when I use the fob to lock the doors. Other times it will go off if I use the fob to unlock the doors. The only way I have found for the alarm to never sound is if I lock the doors using the button on the door panel then when I unlock the runner with the fob the alarm doesn't go off.

I found some directions on how to put the 4Runner into valet mode which is supposed to disable the security features while keeping the key less functionality. I'll give it a shot tomorrow and report back.

I used these instructions to put the RS3000 system into Valet mode and I think it worked.
The 4Runner still locks with the key fob but the alarm light doesn't blink like it used to when the system was armed.

Well, valet mode didn't work so I took the center console apart and just unplugged both connections going to the security light that is next to the back window down button. Keyless entry still works so we'll see if this truly disables the alarm.

My alarm would also go off randomly when using the key fob, but I think I figured out the problem. The plastic on my key fob would sometimes flex and partially open if you put pressure on it a certain way. This would cause a gap that would allow dirt and grime inside the key fob, and also would cause the battery to lose contact with the internal terminals if you pressed the button a certain way. It seemed that my alarm was going off because sometimes it was only receiving a partial garbled signal from the key fob when this occurred, maybe a security feature to prevent shoddy key fob clones from disabling the alarm? I disassembled and cleaned my key fob and improved the internal contacts and it hasn't happened since.

Didn't work for me, the alarm still kept going off. Which makes sense, since the wires going to the status monitor are only for the glass breakage sensor and for the status light - nothing to do with activating the alarm due to door intrusion. I ended up cutting the G-R wire going from the RS3000 to the horn, so at least the horn does not sound when the alarm is activated.
