Just bought one, 2006, and so far love it!

Curious if anyone else is running one? Im pulling with a '07 V6, and it tows great. Love the height of the camper and overall solid feel to it.

Any recommendations on housekeeping and improvements to make it more capable on offroad scenarios? Im not trying to use it like an expedtion trailer, but definitely plan on getting it muddy, dirty, and into as many far away spots as possible!

Thanks in advance!

I had a 2007 E2, sold it earlier this year after four years ownership. Loved it!

Mine had the Filon roof which as you continue research on these you’ll understand we’re quite problematic, sold mine in as is repairable condition.

There is an awesome page on FB (yuck FB I know) but has a ton of helpful info and you can search the page also.

If it has the original MT tires on it the very first thing you should do is immediately replace them as they are well known to blow out - mine did.

Thanks a lot!

PRevious owner had replaced the tires due to a blowout (I think on the original...) so they have BFG All Terrains on them now and theyre brand new.

Our roof appears to be aluminum, so I think we are in good shape there too. Has some minor divots from hail damage but otherwise seems to be in tip top shape considering the age. This guy only used it for easy camping with his family, so we will probably be way harder on it than him.

Appreciate the feedback, Ill def check out the FB pages too!

The aluminum roof ones are bulletproof.

Amazing how those keep their value. I paid $6200 I think, the crappy filon roof did allow moisture into headliner which led to some bubbling and water staining on some of the canvas. I ended up selling at $4500 firm, figured it needed about $1000 in repairs at owner discretion and wanted to leave some equity in it for buyer to feel good about it. In good to excellent condition I could have made all my money back or better.

I’d recommend a chock lock in addition to hitch lock when storing publicly.
