Anyone got Wrangler Duratracs or BFgoodrich A/T

Looking for some pictures of a T4R that has Wrangler Duratracs in the size 275/65/18 and BFgoodrich A/Ts in 285/65/18 or 275/65/18. Preferably with OME 885s and Bilstein 5100s. Just trying to see what my final product will look like that's all!

Bump. I'm looking for the exact same set up. As of now, I'm leaning towards the BFG's again since they've proved there worth to me over the last 50k miles I've driven. Duratracs look great, but I've read highway performance is a bit soft unless you run them at 60 psi.

I feel that the majority of those reviews are from owners who have much heavier trucks than the 4runner. I've run my duratracs for 15k and they feel solid with about 40psi.

I have had my duratracs for about two weeks. they perform great, start to hum at 40, no complaints at all. good in mud. cant wait for feet of snow

Love my BFGs both on and off road. Keep em rotated and at the right pressure and they seem to last forever! Mine have about 15K on em right now.

I have the Duratracs in 275/65/18 with OME 884 and superflex coils. I should be able to get some pics up this week.

HOJeepster - You should get a very good idea of what your truck will look like with my setup. I got some Limited rims and color matched them after seeing your sweet truck :thumb3:. It's unique and I LOVE the look. However I still have the stock grill and badged.

I've only had the duratracs for a month but I've gone on two road trips and probably put 2500 miles on them. I also did my OME within a week so it's hard to compare but they are worlds better then the horrible Dueler A/Ts I had on before. Surprisingly quiet for a tire with an aggresive A/T pattern but I'm still breaking them in.

Note the demon dog eyes in the back of the truck in the last pic, pic is from Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah Forest. Any advice on a good camera?

Any input on the tread-life of the Duratracs? I'm interested in them, but this is my DD and don't want to have to buy another set of tires in a year. I've heard the tread doesn't last too long.

It probably wears pretty quickly, considering the nature of the tire, but it's very deep so total tread life might be pretty good. There are many reasons to run extra pressure in this tire. If you want to maximize tread life, that would be another.

I'd highly recommend looking at the Kelly Safari TSR. It's made by Goodyear and just about the same tire as the Duratrac (slightly bigger voids) for about $50/tire less. My friend just got them on his Tacoma too and they're great. Check my link in my signature for the pics.

I have 10k on them now and haven't had any issues with them, they're still quiet (quieter than the BFG), and no noticeable tread-wear.

Nice, I like your ride (surprise). I actually like your polished gun metal rims a little more than my flat graphite...

Trying to decide between 285/65/18 Nitto trails, or 275/65/18 BFG A/T.. It's hard, I love the look of the trails but I don't wanna eat the gas mileage and trim and they cost more. But idk if I'm up for the BFG A/Ts..

I've been really impressed with the new Cooper ST MAXX. 3 Ply Armor Tek sidewall and they are great in wet conditions too. Great cross between a MT and AT.

Get a less aggressive tire! Dueler AT Revo2's, BFG Ruggid terrain, Destination at's..etc. Better on gas and longer tread life.
