For those rockin' an iPhone, check out this company. They make some really great covers with bamboo and you can custom design the carving on the back. I ordered these for my wife and I when we got the 4 and was very pleased. It looks like you can still get in on the pre-order and save $20. I figured since we have a lot of out-doorsy types you might appreciate this.

My wife has the defender on hers but I think the one I got is perfect!

I will say when I had it hooked to the USB in the 4R the other day the HU stopped showing the current song being played (but the music still played) but when I hit the skip on the wheel I got an 'Error 5" message arg!

I believe there is mention of this message on here with other iProducts but I have not had time to search yet.

Tried the hands free calling, works just fine. unless you wanna charge the phone, I don't see the need of the cable, music works over blue tooth as well. For some reasons, I can transfer the contacts to the head unit, but in voice control, the list is still empty...

Iirc the iPhone requires 5 volts at .5 amps to charge.

Per Apple, it requires 2.1 amps. I work for Verizon, I have people all the time telling me that their usb's don't work to charge. If it charges, then we have a 2.1 amp usb, simple as that (or Apple is lying trying to sell their new chargers, and I have never know a company to lie*). I would be happy to think that Toyota didn't take the cheap route.

I have the HTC 4g LTE with the sprint service that doesn't provide LTE... :wtf::redbrick:

I got SAT $25 for 6 months so haven't really used the bluetooth connection for a while.

That is because Sprint doesn't have LTE, they only have their "4G". I laugh every time I see the "largest 4G network" commercials from T-Mobile and AT&T. 4G is nothing, a made up name for something (in their case, HSPA and HSPA+). I could say my 4R is 4G, it is LTE that you are looking for, and Verizon is the largest. Even if I didn't work for them, I would have Verizon. I like to have things that are the best, that is why I bought a Toyota as well :wink2:
