There is no "best" place to put the switch. Put it where its most convenient for you. As far as the switch goes, any switch with power on and power off will work. Price will depend on what you want the switch to look like. AOB are the ones that look like the stock switches but they are pricier than others. Hope that helps.

Agreed, it is preference.

I have my switch where the factory heated seat switches go (because I do not have heated seats). If you do not have the Party Mode button (spot by the drivers right knee) then that could be a good spot for it.

Thank you guys, I do have the heated switch but not the Party mode so it's gonna go there.
 
Hello all...

It has just come to my attention that I messed up two orders. Someone received the wrong harness which leads me to believe I must have put the wrong label on two packages so someone else must have also gotten the wrong item. If you received a smaller 5 wire harness (as opposed to a 28 pin harness) please reach our to me as you may have the wrong item. I think the mistake may have happened on 1/30 or 1/31. if you placed your order then and received a 5 pin harness let me know so i can confirm you have the correct item! Thanks and sorry for the potential mishap.
 
I installed mine Saturday with AOB switch works great. I wired AOB camera switch it had 4 wires RED, Blue to the long Anytime Backup Camera long +12 v wire and AOB Green wire to Anytime Backup Camera wire.
And AOB Black wire to ground. Camera LED light is on when engine is on and when you push in switch to view backup camera bottom Reverse Camera LED on switch comes on.

Do you have a link to that switch? I bought a rocker switch but I would like to return it. That blue one looks more like what I want.
