I run an ARB1250 with two ARB brackets and ubolts. The ARB brackets mate perfectly with awning and rails. They are super durable and cheap - $10 each.
Maadcaap, do you still have a set? I'd like to "take" one of your hands if it's still available.
I have a set.. pm me

can you list what you put there?
What do you have the brackets mounted to? Drilled through the cross rails?

Some of the threaded studs for the stock rack.
bunch of 1/4-20 nuts and bolts.
Works great and lower profile.
1/4” plate... like anything. If you pull hard enough you can make it flex.. but it is very sturdy.. the rails are stout too
I have a couple extra sets... 60 with hardware and shipping included..
I'm working on an adapter plate that will allow folks to mount standard 8020 extrusions to a standard 4Runner rail. Once it's up there you can bolt anything you want to it and they already make the brackets to bolt to the 8020 stuff.
I just got the 3d printed brackets today to test fit and I've found a shop to cut out the adapter plates. I should know in a week or two if it will work out.
If anyone is interested I'll add pics when I get done.
Did you ever get your brackets done?
Not to dig up a quasi-dead thread, but I've been 3d printing a couple sets for 4th gens - never posted it to the 5th sen section because I didn't know they had a similar profile. Happy to print a couple more if anybody's interested.
