OK-

So I just went out in this mess because my wife is sick and wanted some more cold medicine (more proof that she's just trying to get rid of me...). The guy at CVS Pharmacy said I was the 5th customer of the day and asked me if his Nissan Murano was gonna make it. Uh...no.:crazy:

I gotta tell ya- these are the worst conditions I've ever driven in in 30 years. Super deep drifts -5' high- everywhere and even the recently plowed roads are about 6" deep. It's nearly impossible to see anything- which is the real problem. Everything is just one big sheet of white- the snow is coming down and blowing like crazy.

It's not even fun, and that's saying something for me!

Took the kids over to the other side of the neighborhood in this stuff. Made my own ruts in the un-plowed cul-de-sac but on the turn around got bogged in, pretty much as expected but we were right there at the top of the sledding hill. Kids got out to sled, I shoveled. Once they were done sledding we rode on home, having to help a CUV get out of the way and back on their way.
Dicey driving in this stuff! Stay safe, like [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION] said its not as much fun to drive in it just yet.

There is so much snow it's not even fun. Pulling back into the neighborhood I hit a drift over an already plowed area and was stuck on the frame. Took 3 people digging for 30 mins to back out of it. The non drift area around me is at 34" and the drifts are over 45-50".

there is really no chance I'm leaving my driveway today. Snow shoed to middle of cul-de-sac and measured 27 inches from surface to blacktop. My 4runner is awesome but I even my powerwagon only had 14 inches of clearance

Also, for any of you blizzard virgins, check the mesh on your factory front skid plate after driving in snow, you'll find that its been caved in :bigok:

Watching CNN = Washington, Maryland and New York are a mess!

Me and [MENTION=118864]rich045[/MENTION] right when they shut down the roads. Looks clear but there was a drift about 7ft high right in front of us.

haha sucker. I'm on the left side :dancin:. I was thinking of making paths to my neighbors driveway but realized as soon as a plow comes by all my work would be for nothing. Now its way too late and the snow is piled too high. good luck shoveling all that out tomorrow!

That's how we figure average global temp... All data points over time.

2015 was the warmest thus far based on the data points averaged. and the trend has been rising since the data points have been collected... the 1890s

Its just numbers.. but hey, there it is. Interpret as you will.
