So I know you guys will think i'm crazy, but my bumper was delivered yesterday and I'm thinking I might have to sell it before it ever even sees my truck. I got some great family news yesterday too, however this news probably means it would be better for me to keep the cash in the bank rather than the bumper on my truck for right now. If anyone out there is interested let me know and we can talk numbers...the bumper has the full tubing, shackles, and piaas. It is sitting in my garage so delivery should be pretty quick

Im interested if you decide to sell it.eventhough its already installed pm me so we can talk details.

Oh hey he is just a few posts up, And I was wrong anyway. He only has the center hoop - a nice look IMO.

Can't recall anyone who has the bumper without hoops.

Email I got from SW regarding the filler pieces below the headlights:

I was just reading over this topic on the forum when Mark forwarded me this email. K O had mentioned this to me before, and I have intended to go back and change the material to a lighter guage plate and cut the weight in half since I can easily do that without having a vehicle here at the shop. I simply havent gotten around to it since he was the first and only report of the problem, but it looks like it might need to take some priority with others mentioning the problem now.

If you could send me some pictures of the area near the grill and the suggested mounting points I'll see if I can come up with a solution.

It would be ideally the same as doing it for the other bumpers. I didn't want to go that route because when I sell the truck I'll sell the SW and put the stock bumper and cover back on.

The guy I spoke to at SW a few months ago (forgot his name) said they can make the filler pieces out of much lighter material now which would eliminate some of the issues. issues they didn't consider when they first designed them. not sure if they started that yet. they were also willing to listen to my idea of some additional support brackets for those pieces but I've been too lazy and it's been too cold to take them off, get pics, etc.

Is there an update with the sagging of this front headlight spacer near the front grill? I went over some RR tracks and heard metal on metal contact. Any other bumps in the road, no sound. Thought it was my front suspension. After two days of jacking the truck up and tapping things and repeatedly going over the same RR tracks. I finally saw a little rub mark on the front bumper just below the headlight spacer near the front grill. I gave the spacer a good firm tap and "Bing" there's the sound I've been hearing. The two screws holding the filler In place are tight. I noticed when I tapped the filler. The headlight where the filler is attached to flexes a good amount when going over bumps. I Shoved a piece of rubber door seal between this area and the sound went away while road testing it multiple time over the RR tracks. This will stay there for the time being until I can figure out how to support the headlight filler near the front grill. Any suggestions would be great.

Just 1 pic of the SW front bumper, it has a smittybilt xrc comp w/synthetic line and a pair of Lightforce 170 strikers. Love it so far, I can def feel the weight upfront when driving. More pics to come.

It would be impossible to install them after the bumper was already on. They're actually kind of a pain to install and you need to squeeze in the area where the bumper would be to get to the screws. I attached a pic of the trim pieces that install before the main bumper. You can see the screw on the bottom left corner which you definitely couldn't get to if the bumper was already installed.

Here is pics of the wifes new bumper. The skid is getting a linex coat and I think we will get the pieces below the lights painted to match the body.

The order was placed 7/25 - arrived 11/5. And well worth the wait.

It took myself and a "friend" (one of the required tools in the very detailed instructions) 4 hours and a 12 pack to install. By far, one of the smoothest installs I have ever done.

As luck would have it, this morning I find my left rear tire flat. Two long, sharp rocks got me yesterday. Good thing I got a full size spare!

Hey guys, what fog lights do you have installed? I'm looking for an alternative to the PIAA 510's, and didn't see the housing shield on your pictures. Any of you guys have something else installed?
