Behold the Shrockworks Winch Bumper!!!

looks awesome! The only thing i'd like to see changed is that they replace the round bar used on the top pieces with an angled bar. I emailed them and they requested i send a design in, but i have to get home first! Arrrrgh, the frustrations of being deployed... or in my case trying to get home but stuck in england instead.

I'm taking a break from installing mine right now. I'm having a hell of a time separating the grill from the bumper. But I'll probably add some pics to this thread tonight or tomorrow if I run out of light.

Thanks man! The hardest part about the grill is the tabs under the headlamps. Just wear work gloves and pull as hard as you can, it might feel like its going to break, but once you hear the tabs pop, its good to go lol.

Do you guys know if the pieces under the headlights can be easily installed after the bumper is attached? I plan to paint those pieces to match the body color of my truck but I don't think I'll get them back before the day I plan to install the bumper.

It would be impossible to install them after the bumper was already on. They're actually kind of a pain to install and you need to squeeze in the area where the bumper would be to get to the screws. I attached a pic of the trim pieces that install before the main bumper. You can see the screw on the bottom left corner which you definitely couldn't get to if the bumper was already installed.

So I know you guys will think i'm crazy, but my bumper was delivered yesterday and I'm thinking I might have to sell it before it ever even sees my truck. I got some great family news yesterday too, however this news probably means it would be better for me to keep the cash in the bank rather than the bumper on my truck for right now. If anyone out there is interested let me know and we can talk numbers...the bumper has the full tubing, shackles, and piaas. It is sitting in my garage so delivery should be pretty quick

These Shrockworks bumpers are so freakin sweet looking. Jim at Shrockworks just has a flair for design to go along with the quality work.
It's no wonder he's always backed up on orders.

How does the under-headlight-insert match up to the fender? in the two pics that sorta show the front view it looks like there is a bit of a hole between the SW piece and the fender. Looks like it may be a source of wind noise 9whistling) or dirt and water trapping.

I know Jim put a lot of thought into this, so I'm hoping it's just the angle of the pic, but any detailed pics of that area and feedback on how the body panel gap is would be appreciated.

The only wind noise i've noticed was the trimmed fender banging against the bumper... which only required me to cut it a bit more. I have not noticed any noise from the trim pieces.

As you can see in the picture, they are not absolutely perfect, but if you mess with the amount of washers that are between the trim and headlight holes or move the part around that stabilizes the trim pieces, you can dial in the fit.

It's listed on their site as 137lbs. Not sure what the weight difference is between the different hoop options.

My SW front bumper just arrived today. It came at a bad time when I have a bunch of other things on my plate--I will not be able to install it for more than a week. Even so, it is now waiting patiently in my garage.

FYI - Shrockworks is working on a rear bumper for the 5th gen.
