You doing heat in both the botttom and the back of the seat?
Those covers do look very sharp.
Yeah, has heating elements that go in both places.
Thanks, I'm very happy with how they turned out. I think the kit includes some material for door trim to match as well which I didn't know was included.

Heated seats and wiring harnesses showed up. Again, higher quality than I expected. I'm a stickler for nice wiring and this is a clever design. Only requires a ground and a +12V ignition source. The rest is self contained.
Switch lights up green on low and red on high.
Got jury duty next week so I'll have to put the install off a week I think.

Couple more parts came in. Figure some other items should get replaced since it's getting basically a new interior.
Trim screws and combination meter lens. My lens isn't terrible but it's always had a cloudy spot around the 4WD indicator and has a few scratches even though I've been SUPER careful cleaning it. I bet it can be polished but to do that right the lens needs to be removed so figure I might as well just replace it (was less than $40) and I'll polish the original and keep as a spare.
If all goes well, the interior will be 100% by the end of the week.

As of today Dealer $2.54 each vs $.80 each, place has other fasteners we use.

Yeah immediately. They caught it on some license plate readers but who knows if they'll recover it, or recover it in one piece.
Really sucks since it can't really be replaced. I had built the car in to a 1000hp street/strip car and now the Hellcats are no longer being made.

Found the Hellcat (what's left of it) on Saturday from a FB tip. Completely stripped down to the hull and the front end cut off right in front of the windshield. Cut was so straight and precise it looked like it was done with a laser. No burned paint around the cut or anything. It was literally left on the side of the road in someone's yard. How they even got it there is a mystery, not a scratch on what's left of the body but two fork lift holes through the windshield where they picked it up and set it down I guess.
Must be a group going through town. A girl at the gym this morning told me hers was stolen Sunday from a local store. It wasn't a Hellcat but still a nice Challenger.

Wtf! I feel like there should be harsher penalties for people who commit these kinds of crimes...
My truck was hit by a drunk driver in 2017. I personally caught the dude myself, obtained his information and provided that to the local PD where I lived at the time. Yeah, nothing was done about it.
I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this Speedy. This has got to be a living nightmare for you brother.

I heard of these professional gangs rolling through areas. Doing exactly what your seeing. Chicago is a hub. Probably have several cities as hubs.

Thats one of the nice things about socially media they don't even have to try and find what they want, people let them know where to set up shop. Probably been planning this out for a while and cased u and the other charger out, throw a tracker on them to now when their target is on the move, and grab said.
Probably not a coincidence that u both go to the same gym, her normal charger is probably going to get a new vin and become a clone of urs. One of the staff would be my guess...
being that they ditched the body local it's probably a grp closer to home then from somewhere else r they would have moved it to where their tools are...
Interesting they hit u up for money, even though u would have just been screwed twice, the value in parts they would never give u the info to find a complete unit (I now u understand this).

These groups move in areas have scouts grab what they want and then are gone. So they cant easily be tracked or caught. Its a shame..
I really few horrible for all the innocent victims and the police do not take it seriously at all.
