I also usually start out at Crab Flats on 3N16 then either take 2N13 to the Butler Peak Fire Tower(easy 2wd trail) or go on past the Crab Flat Campground to 3N93(aka the Rockgarden) then take 3N14 into Fawnskin. Or just stay on 3N16 all the way to the BBdump like Pikeman suggested.

I don't think I am going to be able to make this one. I have Reserves the first weekend of the month. I have also been unemployed since September and haven't been able to be that active or get out much. Especially since the 4Runner is in need of long over due maintenance.

I will be going to Tierra Del Sol aka TDS in March though as I have gone every year the past 12(minus years I was deployed)

before you guys head out...i would call the ranger station and ask them which trails are open..i was up there in dec..and they said roads are subject to closure at anytime. was def fun tho, going thru snow trails with the stock all season tires and no chains. lol

Ill give them a call and see how the roads are looking and which ones they will have closed due to weather.
