Big bear february run?

I posted on another link in Expo to see if anyone was headed up. Seems like one other guys from that link is interested. I'll be in Big Bear late on Thursday night, so anytime on Saturday works for me. Good luck with the gas tank.
 
Alright count me back in for this. Think I've got it patched. At least I have 15gallons in it right now its not leaking. I'll watch thru out the week and see if its visible and also have the computer run its pressure leak test as well.
 
The linked post discusses a potential snow wheeling run in Big Bear. It was originally to happen in January, but I revived it looking for some folks to trail ride with this coming weekend. Theres a fella in Dodge Power Ram that is interested in heading up there this weekend as well, which is why I mentioned it here.

It looks like id could be me, Broker, and crismateski (from Expo see below) on Saturday. Location and time still TBD. Anyone else got the itch?:driving:

I'll be visiting some relatives in Big Bear on February 23/24 and would love to hit up some trails in the area. I'm in a 98 4runner with 33's and rear locker. I've got lots of dirt road driving, a good amount of 4lo wheeling (dry) and limited snow wheeling experience. Would love to meet up with some locals for a day on the trails.

Look into doing Crab Flats Rd (3N16) near Green Valley Lake. It is always a good place for snow wheeling. Not too sure about road closures due to the police presence.

I don't know the names of them. But I was going to stick to medium difficulty trails. Since I don't know how my runner is going to handle in the snow. But for most part I was going to explore the east side of big bear. I think Holcomb trail is the name of one over that way. I want to stay away from John Bull and those trails because they are hard enough in dry weather.

There's gonna be a couple more rigs meeting at the Disco Center at 9:30. We should delay a little bit to connect with them.
