I'm sure this would have had a sunny peaceful resolution, cooler heads would have prevailed, and everyone would have ended up eating ice cream laughing, smiling, and patting each other on the back if only everyone in the video had a nice shiny gun like yours.

The biker being run over had it coming to him. He was part of the pack who tried and succeeded in stopping the SUV in the middle of a freeking highway with the sole intent of harrassing the SUV. Helping his fellow biker friend? Give me a f***ing break.. They were looking for trouble and found it, too bad it backfired on them. I have a 2 year old and your GODDAMN right I would've done the same thing to protect my family from douchbags who are hellbent on doing harm to you and your family.

Eff them. The guy in the SUV WILL BE SUED, but that's another matter.

No charges filed so far but they arrested a few of those assclowns today including the guy that brake-checked him. That doesn't mean a civil suit won't follow.

Sorry man, you won't win this argument here. This is one of the most gun-friendly non-gun forums I've ever been on and all these guys take ownership seriously. If you don't want to end up in jail yourself, you have to know your state's laws about when they consider deadly force acceptable - and in all cases state law will tell you that you don't pull a gun as leverage. You pull it when it's absolutely necessary to use deadly force.

To be honest I'm not sure even I would have used a gun in this situation. You are clearly outnumbered and have no idea how many of them are armed. I would have kept moving until I was at a place to attract sufficient police attention. The exception here was when he was completely blocked in and didn't have much choice, but I would recommend to anyone, you still don't stop. Sidewalks, grass, bikes - all fair game.

You do not ever pull your weapon on another person unless you are ready and willing to put sights on your target and put them down, period. If you don't know that, then you have no business even owning a firearm, much less carrying one or blustering about waving it around on the internet.

I honestly think a gun would've just escalated the situation and it's pretty likely several of these low-life's had guns anyway.....next thing you know you're in a gunfight with your wife and baby beside you. Not cool.

Anyone who fights in a group is a coward as far as I'm concerned, but right or wrong, I think the lesson here is just ignore the bikers and let them ride like *******s because they have you outnumbered. The cops sure as he'll aren't going to rescue you, and your family/ health is the most important thing. When it comes down to it, avoiding conflict is always the best option.

I generally agree but getting brake checked by a crotch rocket is kind of hard to avoid. That's what took the harassment to a whole new level. Then they surrounded him, at which point he went a little Mario Kart on their asses. He should have kept on moving.

You watch way too much TV. If you think it's OK to draw a firearm without at least the perceived need to use deadly force, you're going to have some problems - in real life situations, and later in court.

A better course of action would be to find someone with much better judgement (preferably who's at least 21) and let them "hold" your firearm for you.
