Bluetooth conflicts with aux jack?

I have the 2010 4runner SR5. Had the dealer throw in the Blu Logic bluetooth system. I have no problems pairing the Iphone with the Blu Logic and no problem streaming music. But the streaming is not as clear as directly plugging the aux jack.

What I do is connect the truck's aux jack to the Iphone headjack to play the music, with the option of the audio going into Blu Logic (streaming) or Headphone ... I chose the later. Here is the problem. If I am doing this and a call comes in, the Blu Logic does not seem to on a consistent basis picking up the call (only works if my output audio is streamed through Blu Logic and does not work if the audio out is the headphone jack). Each time, I would have to manually pick up the phone --- which is a no no, against the law --- manually set the phone to Blu Logic and answer the call. This process ends the Iphone music. Once the phone conversation is over, I have to press Play again.

I know that there is no problem with Blu Logic muting the sound while in AM, FM, or CD mode. However, when I switch to the AUX mode, this is where bluetooth conflicts with the aux.

I have google, dogpile and there does not seem to be a fix. Any ideas?

I take it what they installed is some sort of aftermarket blue tooth module?

It may be a problem with the iPhone and not the module. Since you are not streaming the audio the iPhone might get "confused" when the call comes in.

Is the audio quality that different BT to AUX jack? Mine sounds pretty good with the factory BT from the iPhone.

The Blu Logic was not from the manufacturer, but installed at the dock (i.e., dealer). This is the BT as an option supplied by all Toyota dealerships.

Yes, there is a difference in audio quality between BT and AUX jack.

I have been reading from other forums that some ppl somehow got it to work, but I have tried many times (from resetting the pairing and re-pairing) to streaming audio to BT - which works.

Hope someone's got a solution out there.

Any workarounds?
The ideal situation would be that I am listening to musci and a call comes in. The music pauses and I take the call. Once I hang up my phone, the music resumes. This is all accomplished without me having to touch the phone.

I have been reading in other forums that people were able to do this with the iphone 3G/GS. Anyone with experience on with the i4?
