If Borla were to make a side exit exhaust, who would buy one?
I was actually looking into getting the stock exhaust cut/turned today. I don't want more noise, just less chance of dragging it over something and no fumes in cabin when rear window is open.

Nobody. An exhaust on a V6??
Really? Yet numerous guys on here do Magnaflow Systems.

I just installed this last night. Fits perfect and sounds great.
A V6 oriented engine is among the worst sounding out there...straight 6, flat 6, v8, v10, v12 - these are all pleasant sounds which can be nicely enhanced but the V6 is just a workman engine designed to just work. Its blue jeans and a t-shirt.
I think your trying to be a troll. You sound dumb when you say things like that. What's a v6 oriented engine? It's a v6 or it isn't. It could be longitudinally or horizontally oriented... Maybe that's what you meant? That would have no bearing on how it sounds of course. Lots of v6 engines sound great. The 350z comes to mind as the first example I could think of. Oh have you heard that new jag v6 in the f-type s? I cream my pants a little when I hear it. I will agree that other cylinder configurations sound good, but that's entirely dependent on the exhaust system. My buds viper sounds like a tractor. My other friends porsche sounds.... Like a tractor. That's a v10 and a flat 6. Of course my other buddies gallardo sounds amazing, as does his 997 turbo.. Again a v10 and a flat 6. As far as a v6 being a workman engine... I'm pretty sure that a Chevy or ford v8 is the most common work truck engine ever.
