BP with chrome blacked out

Just wondering if anyone has blacked out their badges on a blizzard peral T4R? If so could you post some pics? I've seen it done on some of the other colors which look good, but not sure how it would look on the BP.

I considered it for a moment, but I think the BP is just a little too fancy for flat black. A black chrome or a dark silver with a good bit of shine would look sharp.

Something similar to this, for example.

I have my doubts it would be as cheap as rattle canning, though.

I really want to see a BP canadian SR5 to see how the unpainted trim looks w/ BP.

I definitely think there's awesome potential with this look. Here's where I would swap the bumpers and fenders for the TE trim (like harper) so it would be all black. Go to work on the door handles, front/rear emblem panels, debadge, paint roof rack too or get an aftermarket rack, and black wheels. It would resemble a Trail Team FJ but be a 5th gen, which would look bad*** IMO.

Like so:

snow & surf- I would have to agree that the white/black combo is definitely a nice option, especially with the iceberg. I guess i'm just wondering if the blizzard pearl would look just as nice. I would love to swap out the bumpers and fenders from the TE, but realistically, I don't consider myself that talented or with that much patience to handle that.

If the T4R was iceberg, it would be bloody awesome w/ the TE exterior and black wheels (as I have a total hard-on for the iceberg TT FJ), but I'm not sure how well the pearl would go with the more utilitarian look of unpainted trim. The paint gives it very much a Lexus feel.

i'd love to eat my hat on this one and it look awesome, though! I'm bound to hit a deer at some point (I've taken one out with every car I've owned... damn things are all over the place), so getting the switch done on the insurance company's dime would be fine by me if it looked good enough. If Toyota would come out with a 17" version of those TT wheels, I'd be first in line, too. I love those wheels.
