Started on the flares but stopped to get the CBI bumper on first and wait for the black hardware for the flares to come in the mail. Here's a taste.

Found them on Amazon for $4.25 as an add-on item so I had to spend $25 bucks on something to get them. The price has since gone up but still not bad for $11.48 and they are no longer an add-on item.

Well he wants to wait till the bumper and flares are done. I suppose i'm just refusing to believe the offer. I'm enjoying this rig so much, I'm not ready to let go just yet. It's about to celebrate its first birthday and he doesn't even have 5K miles on him. Just want to get all the mods done so I can really enjoy it and stretch its legs.

Just did some measurements and I'm starting to come to the conclusion that these will not play nice with the safari snorkel, which I know affects the vast minority of folks out there. The biggest concern is what you have to trim on the top of the flare may end up bisecting those recesses for the faux bolts.
I'm going to see how much tomorrow. But for all my hounding I may not be able to use these. So as an alternative I may just paint my existing flares back. Function over form appears.
