Bushwacker made fenders for the 5th gen!!

Here is a pic of my bushwhackers. I had a dealership body shop paint them to match and install them. I Love 'em!

Looks great! For you guys running the Bushwackers, do you lose any clearance or get additional rubbing? I am going wide on my wheels and tires and want these, but cant afford to lose any clearance since I will be doing a ton of trimming and the body mount chop.

They line up on the outer edge of the fenders, so any additional trimming would be minimal. You may need to trim some of the inner front lip where it dips in under the fender. But that is an area where you have to drill a hole to mount the under lip anyway so it shouldn't cause any problems. The BMC area will be clear of the BW flares.

Excellent, thank you. Calling Demello tomorrow to add these to the list!

Is there a way to make the fake rivets actually work as an attachment method? I would like to get these as the LT is looming but would be trimming them for clearance which would mean the inner fender attachments would be gone.

Sent using 1s and 0s.

I went and bought some 3/8 stainless bolts. Like an inch and a half . They were a minimal thread pattern. Mocked up the fender and then tapped a hole right through both fenders. I sprayed each hole drilled with a corrosion preventer, let that dry.... and then hit is with a shot of black spray paint. Tighten in the bolt. Throw some thread locker on there before you do and those fenders will be on there forever. :)

At our recent Big Bend trip, I had a front wheel come off. It pushed the fender out. The Bushwacker fender didn't even budge. All of the fenders survived a pretty hairy trip...EXCEPT the drivers side rear door fender. It came off on second day. Ironically, it is the only one that I didn't take the time to tap in.

I am going to actually look into completely cutting out all my fender from about 2-3 inches below the holes I have drilled...and down. Running these big ass tires on Morena really chews up the space under the fender. I want to make these functional so I can get some elbow room.

Cool. Any photos? This is pretty much where I will be cutting to get full up travel with the 34s.

What are you guys who installed these flares running in terms of wheel/tire/offset?

These are slightly wider than the stock flares right, so I imagine the tires look recessed after installing these?

Currently I am running a 3" Toytec Boss lift, 17x8.5 0 offset wheels, 285/70/17 bfg KO2's.

I had to trim the fender lining and remove the mudflaps in the front. If I add 1.25" spidertrax wheel spacers to this set up, do you think I'll encounter major rubbing problems? I'm trying to avoid doing a body mount chop, but I really like the look of these flares and the wider stance.

Was using TRD Pro wheels with 1.25 Spider Trax spacers. Now I'm using Method Race Wheel and Width are 8. No need for spacers.

I'm running a Boss lift with stock TE rims and 275/70 17r KO2's. I thought about getting spacers but waited to see what it looked like post fender install. I like the look and don't think it looks recessed.
