I really like the look of the of the ladder and think the style would mesh well with my prinsu roof rack. I would like to know what the weight of it is and if there is an upgraded lift strut that would work well with it before I would order one though. Having shovel mounts and maxtrax mounts would be a huge bonus. Hopefully all would be available before my yearly off grid fishing trip in June where I know I would be putting it to use.
Yeah we wanted to keep the weight down and try to eliminate any rust issues, but aluminum is quite a bit more expensive than steel, so we are still trying to figure out where we need to price them.Big thank you for going aluminum. If gas prices go up in the future, the demand for all these new aluminum accessories and mods will only go up, I think.
Yes it is the only aluminum one that we know of, we will keep everyone updated for sure!Heck yes. Being that this is the only aluminum ladder option (from what I have seen anyway), this is a definite purchase for me! No rust, light weight, matching style with Prinsu...win win win! Cant wait to see the final production run with powder coat!
Keep us in the loop guys!
Awesome thanks!aluminum!! put me down, will definitely order this when available.
We are thinking it will have a rating of about 300 lbs.Is this fat guy rated? How heavy a person can climb this?
Price competitive, and I'm in.

Price competitive with which company? gobi is at $220 and Baja is $350. Even eotech I think is at $350 ish. I am looking for one but it falls under the "would like to have" category versus "need".
In that range and I'm good. The Ecotechne I like, but stories and dealing with the company make it a no go. I think the Baja is overpriced, but they seem to sell them, so good for them.Price competitive with which company? gobi is at $220 and Baja is $350. Even eotech I think is at $350 ish. Yes it will be very easy! That was one of our main goals in designing the ladder.I love how easy this will be to mount accessories to.
We will keep everyone updated as to when the product is ready to purchase! We may do a pre-order once we get some more marketing content put together with the first prototype one.Put me on the list! I know there isn't one but let me know when the ordering opens.
Something like this should work well for those who want extra traction: https://8020.net/40-2877.htmlOne request I would make is on the powder coating. I think it would be real smart to do the steps ( and just on the steps) with a textured powder coat to help hide scuff marks and give a little traction for when you use the ladder.
Thanks!Looks good...it will match with the Prinsu style roof racks nicely.
I love the look of this rack. Hope price wise it’ll be competitive

Sounds great. As long as the price isn’t out of line I will definitely be getting one of these.
