Thanks! We can give it a try, but i don't think i would recommend attaching a hammock to the ladder.

YES PLEASE. I suddenly need a ladder. it'll flow PERFECTLY with the PRINSU racks. LOUD NOISES!:frusty:
Looking really good! Maybe after this alpha test is complete a small group of beta testers can put it through the ringer.
The only spot that concerns me is where the 3rd rung from the bottom connects to the rails. I think that with the material type, amount of material removed and the long span from the second rung to the top that this area could fatigue and fail first. After heavy use I’d recommend pulling the 3rd rung off and inspecting the rails and holes for deformation and cracking. However, for all I know you guys will do this for the whole thing. I have your sliders on my rig so I trust C4

Would adding more "steps" help alleviate pressure? or just make it too awkward to use then
I definitely think more rungs would make it clunky to use and wouldn’t help distribute the load any more than having your feet on separate rungs with the current design.

I only ask because I have a friend that regularly attaches his hammock to his Baja Ladder when we go camping, and it is solid. ...granted, it is only him and his dog in the hammock. So, there is that.

Thanks for the input, we will pay attention to that area to make sure we do not have any issues with excessive flex or material failure.
We will be installing a couple more of these ladders soon so we can get some more use out of them before putting them into production.
We would like to offer a Pre-Order soon.
Well if he normally uses his Baja ladder for a hammock, then ours may support it as well. We will have to give it a few tries to see how it holds up.

I just got off the phone with Gobi and they have a 6-8 week lead time on their ladders currently. Love this design and it matches what I've got on my Runner more closely than the tubular ladders do.
Would this be compatible with the [MENTION=110183]SouthernSS[/MENTION] full length rack? I keep scartching my paint by crawling up on my roof and need a ladder bad!

We are hoping to offer a Pre-order in about a month or so. We need to get some more marketing done on the product so we can build up as much interest in the product as possible so we can offer a successful pre-order.
I know Gobi says their ladder is 6-8 weeks, but i have talked to multiple customers of ours that got told the same from Gobi, but they didn't end up getting their product until about 12 weeks or so. Not saying that would happen with your ladder, but i know its a possibility.
Not sure if this ladder will clear with the SSO roof rack, but our ladder does fit tighter than a Gobi ladder so our ladder will fit with any other product that a Gobi fits with.

I think the SSO Roof Rack would work with any ladder. Especially since the crossbars are moveable and removable.

I'd love for the steps to be some TS15-75 extrusion, specially if they were tapped like the Prinsu bars. Then users could add steps if they wanted and you could use the t-slot on the bottom of the step to attach accessories.

Would like clarification on this as have a SSO rack on order and would seem to be a great match aesthetically. The rear most crossbar (actually all) is removable so not sure what other issue there might be?

I think there’s more than one of us that wouldn’t mind testing these out for c4 lol. I would even hang my hammock on one to test that out for 007tacoma. and test fit it with a prinsu rack.
Lol absolutely! I wasn’t volunteering myself, but surely wouldn’t mind being part of dev and test. I’m all about the fab.
Can't think of a better way to build interest than getting these out to a few of us and letting us show it off for you.. Free marketing. Like say 10..
