Castrol 5W30 Syn Blend for $1 @ Autozone

I'm running into the same thing, keeps wanting to charge me $100 for shipping...how did you fix it?

Try playing with the amounts and making sure you have the correct items in the cart and the correct shipping method selected (should be ground). it gave me free shipping no matter what amount I had in there. if you have 100 quarts in there though you should see a total of $100 + tax if applicable in your state.

How/where did you come across this deal? How long has this been going on? I have a feeling that more orders will be placed than they will be willing to fulfill, glitch or not.

ok I figured it out too, even though freight is cheaper ($100 for me) and ground was like $184...click on ground and check the total in your cart and it should be free now...getting ready to place my order before this deal expires. Excellent find! :yo::cheers:

So I ordered 99 qts of:
Castrol/SynBlend engine oil SAE 5W-30 1 qt. 6358 at AutoZone.com
and another 99qts of:
Kendall/GT-1 SynBlend engine oil SAE 10W-30 1 qt. 1057246 at AutoZone.com and 1 quart of Royal Purple SAE 30 ($8.99) and my total came to $221.48 after taxes...are you freakin' kidding me? This is too good to be true! Not to mention, if you type in the code GIFTME you also receive a $25 gift card for every $100 you spend...that's why I bought the extra qt of oil to put me over the $200 mark so I'll receive $50 in gift cards. I figured after it was all said and done I'm paying around $.85 cents per quart....and it's good oil too (synthetic blend)!
Pretty sure somebody may have screwed up on this deal at Autozone...it's almost like they're paying me to take it (shipping came to $237 before it got discounted!)

I think the big question here is, will they follow through and ship everyone's orders? I heard a roomer that they have been slowly ridding the synblend stock, which could explain the huge discount, but the free shipping on every order is insane. Should be interesting to see how this plays out. I wouldn't be surprised if there were any delays with these orders lol.

Totally agree, who's to stop a person or business from placing order after order for the max quantities? (kinda like what I did..haha) They'll have to run out of stock eventually

I saw this on another board, earlier today. So I headed on down to a couple local AutoZone stores, to see what deals I might find. The result: 40 Quarts of Mobil 1, for $42.77.

It appears to be legit. Looks like Auto Zone is just clearing these out. Bobistheoilguy.com forum members have been scooping these up for about a week! Pretty great deal, I can't recall ever seeing synthetic blends for this cheap!

If u go to wal mart and show them this price they will price match it. I am going to take a stab at it today I'm pretty sure there going to slap it on a gift card but if NOT I'm going get some more. I have to try and play the retail sys at different angles make there sys work against them.

I've been using Valvoline high mileage synmax or whatever it's called for the last 3 or 4 oil changes (I think I've only done 4 tops since I've only owned the truck for a little over a year / 10k miles). Looks like I'll be switching.
Problem is, I don't know if the engine or rest of the truck will last however many years/miles 48+ bottles will stretch. I'm the kind of idiot that would buy another vehicle just to utilize some stock of cheap oil I bought years ago :hello:
Shame they don't sell the oversized Purolator 20195 at Autozone or I'd make my order reach $100 by adding several of them. By the way, telling me I only have to hit $75 to get free shipping. Might just roll the dice and add some of the normal filters they sell to hit free shipping + gift card.
