Anyone else just get the email saying that autozone didn't have enough to fulfill the order?

I just got an email saying my order of 48 quarts has been CANCELLED. WTF. They are sending me $20 gift card instead. I'm effing pissed. I ordered it before they sold out on it.
Anybody else get this email from Autozone???
"We regret that we are unable to fulfill your recent ship to home order for motor oil. The vendor has discontinued this product and we no longer have sufficient quantity of the item(s) you ordered..."

I just cleaned out a autozone my brother forgot about on my way to work tonight. Valvoline trans fluid. Got both the Dex/Mercon and the ATF+4.
I can say all stores in my area are empty.

Just got this e-mail. So pissed. I ordered 6 qts Sunday and they charged my card that night and everything. They should comp us the oil of our choice for $1 a qt IMO. That's bad business!

Yea me to. Sucks because my local store had a ton left and I didn't buy any because I got the online order and now it's all gone

It appear autozone has cancelled everyone's online order that was placed. just got this email telling me so and that the funds may be on hold for 7-10 business days I placed my order Saturday. Bummer.

You might be able to get some in some stores. I work there and ordered mine online for in store pick up and they had it ready for me when I got there the next morning. It got pretty well cleaned out though, after all my coworkers found out. Still worth a shot.
Penzoil Platinum 10W-30, Motorcraft 10W-30(nearly the same as the Kendall GT-1), Mobil 1 High mileage 5W-20, and most all Valvoline transmission fluids(including Dex/Merc) are on clearance for a dollar as well.

The email didn't specify which of my orders were canceled. I made multiple orders to separate each brand, and a smaller order just in case something like this happened and they'd only honor smaller orders for what they had left. All it said was that my entire order was canceled due to insufficient quantities.

Well was very happy to order - until I got the email today with a $20 dollar gift card (that might come in the mail).
With this said, the effects of them taking the money even if for a day to 7-10 days to RTN the $$ to it's customer. They got a crap ton of $$ and mostly likely turned it into bigger cash for themselves. Probably enough to make up the $20 they are giving in the gift card.
The best time they do this, we all should order, but only just enough to get the $20 gift card!
But I'd rather have the oil, WTH Autozon? One more resin that after this, I only shop at Advanced Auto Parts & Oreilly's!

Got my order of 50qts cancelled as well.
Yeah I mean, sure my money gets held for a few days, but after its returned, I (and others) have free 20$ to spend on whatever.

I had the same thing happen until I called them and they confirmed it and emailed me the cancellation all in the phone call that was at 10:25pm 11/23/2014... They have been out for a while... Which I am calling BS on AZ,
