Yes I am aware that most Toyota owners are against jeeps, but I really enjoy the inline 6 with the 4.0. So I picked one up over the weekend. Ready for some mods!!!!

I've always liked the XJ body style, they're great trucks. Get rid of that D30 in front as soon as you can though, and watch out for the 4.0 to overheat.

Thanks for the advice, I've had a couple of these XJ's and have never noticed any overheating on these 4.0's. Have you known them to overheat a lot?

I have. The 4.0 XJ on the side of the trail with it's hood up is kind of a running gag around these parts, seems like they overheat all the time. I've never owned one myself though, maybe I'm suffering from confirmation bias.

I used to have an XJ that overheated pretty frequently. On a snow run a few years ago it overheated on me more times than I'd like to talk about. With that being said she did break trail all day, but I still wasn't happy.
