Sorry to say, but I'm really glad that I left early on Saturday night with Chris. I had a feeling that there wouldn't be a run on Sunday morning, and had I stuck around it would have been simply for the sake of sticking around (in the rain).

As it turned out, Chris and I drove back to Durango in a snow storm...

My sleeping bag on a couch was more comfy than the same bag on wet ground, and the next day we fished the San Juan River in NM. The fishing was good until the wind kicked up...

I was home by 5pm, unpacked and showered by 6pm, and my Wife & Daughter got home just after that, so I scored some Wife points and got to spend the evening with the fam.

Overall, it was a fun trip and I'm glad I came. I would have liked to see less breakage on the trail, which would have allowed us to run a few more trails and make the most of things. Other than that it was all good.

Like I said, I promise pics this weekend. Been a busy week catching up on hours at work.
 
Yeah less breakage would have been nice... had to get the bugs ironed out somehow I guess. :/

Thats cool you guys had more fun sunday than any of us did.

Last I heard we were thinking that same weekend so while yo are off with your 80s buddies, watching 80s movies, listening to 80s music, we should be in Moab living here and now!!

:redbrick: In all honesty I wish I had an 80's rig and could go ExpeditionUT does a great job organizing these trips. Next year dpending on where they go I may get my dads 78 CJ and go on the "Relic Run". Problem is, I didn't live at all in the 70s. I lived all of the 80s though!!

I am watching their runs very closely. If I am available, I'm going with them...very knowledgeable and friendly!
 
Scrolling through photos I noticed Brady likes his A pillar grab handle a LOT. Lol.

Pics tomorrow.

Also AJ. I got home from work today and the damn thing started to piss coolant from that water pump bypass tube. I was planning on doing the timing chain here soon along with a better water pump, but just let me know if you plan on taking it up with your Cornwell guy.
