Clear LED 3rd Brake light pics!!!!!

i ordered my tails in november but havnt recieved them yet, but fortunatly for me it doesnt matter cuz i cant install them until march. im going to be ordering a third brake light soon enough though.
 
so is the abs light a bad thing? i dunno even what its for? (sorry i'm dumb)

and are you getting the black led tails blk?

that would look sweet
 
the ABS light is not a bad thing, the system just thinks it has a burnt out bulb, and that is supposed to be a warning to tell you that. your abs light only comes on when ABS is engaged, if it stays on constantly its trying to tell you there is a brake light out.
 
Any ideas about how to remove the abs fuse. I have made a few new threads but no response. I tried to pull it out. Dang I want no abs!!!
 
Yes I am. The abs is very toutchy off road. And I would like to disengange it, sometimes. If possible. I heard pulling the fuse will work
 
well i dont recommend going without abs, but there is an ABS fuse in the fuse box under the hood, you can unplug that and then give it a try. but again i dont recommend that and highly discourage you to driving on road with out ABS. ive never heard of that being done either so, thats just my opinion. good luck and back to the topic at hand

i am going with the smoked led's. plus im going to have my buddy paint the rear spoiler paint matched. it outta look badass all done.

Are you doing smoke 3rd brake light and smoke tail lights?

What color is your 4runner?
 
Awesome. Be sure to post some pictures. I still can't decide between regular ones and smoked.

On a side note- I went to get a brow on my windshield today and asked about tinting the thrid brake light and he said that he couldn't because it would get to hot. That didn't make since to me.

I don't see how the light would get it hotter than the summer heat. But that is just me.

Hey guys - just thought I would make sure you know this:

If your ABS light on the dash is lit (due to the system thinking a bulb is out),
YOUR ABS SYSTEM WILL NOT FUNCTION!!

PS - I think I'll be getting one of the red LED 3rd brake light units. Sweet! :bigok:

I installed mine myself, and it looks just fine to me.. im glad I got it. It was from a wrecked limited.

I too don't know whether to get smoked or regular.. I'm getting all three lights at once so yeah...

I need a new right headlight now because there's film inside that got loose and shredded up... and there's mud in it, so if theres any other alternatives (I'm not too much of a fan of the black lights) I'd love to know.

Hopefully this christmas I can save enough extra cash to buy all three tails and new headlights, corners and bumper lenses.

AKA all my lights... lol.

And I don't even have ABS so I don't care about the whole resistor.
