Lots of things going on with your build lately COB. Whew! It's hard to keep up with it all!

I like the old color better on the wheels. Nice work on the continued improvements/functionality mods. Can't wait to see the shrockworks bumper installed on the rig.

That melted piston is crazy. I have a feeling when you flip that car, it will be to pay for the next major mod on zeeee Runner!

On yeah, and good post on the URL thing. WTF are they thinking making that kind of change?

Thanks for constructive criticism and compliments. I love it when members really explain how they feel. The color is dark, but it's by no means black. The plus side is that it'll only take another coat on top to change their color, and not a ton of prep.

That's good plan, next big mod or maybe another DD to flip again...

BTW, my 2 cents.... I like the previous wheel color more.... the new one is too close to black, IMO...

That being said, it is only my opinion... so other's may chime in and say the opposite!

Lol, the gray was much too scratched up... I may revert back someday. Thanks for the compliment, though!

Thank you to A.Wilson013 for a sweet deal on a Scangauge 2. I've been playing with it every second I'm in the truck. It's great seeing info on my operating temperatures and MPG, etc.

This week is going to be a busy week, but hopefully there's time to install the Toytec 1" body lift.

Toytec Panhard drop bracket will probably be welded whenever I find someone to modify the roll bar and weld the front alignment bolt stops.

Walbro 190 Fuel Pump from URD. The 4Runner is ready for a boost upgrade! Just have to locate a proper wiring diagram for the MAP ECU2 and it's go time.

You're right, I should go down to my 4Runner, drive to So. Cal, break into his 4Runner, hot wire it, and check his options to see his firmware version.

And would you recommend the Spidertrax spacers? I have the Highlander 5-spoke wheels, but they look inset too far with the larger-style fender flares on my truck. I would be concerned about wheel balancing issues.

More power is making it to the wheels without the automatic taking loooooooooong shifts. I can get more power to the ground when I need it. It's a real help taking off at higher RPM's to compensate for my truck's current lack of torque. Manuals are very nice for those with an actual care to control their own vehicles.

If you're looking for a spacer, can't go wrong with Spidertrax. I haven't had any issues with mine at all.




Finally finished up the wheels and centercaps.

I hate to admit it, but I'm sick of my 4Runner right now. Looks like it's going to take a hiatus from driving for a while. Mods are piling up for a truck that isn't even in top shape. It still drives great, but problems make me uncomfortable.




I've written up a list of items that need changing. I will start driving it again after

1. Replace Both CV axles (torn boots/mud inside)
2. Fix driver's seat front left bolt (ripped out)
3. Perform Alignment/weld alignment stops
4. Skid reinstalled (gotta bend it back into a skid-like shape)
5. Fix Leaking trans shifter seal
6. Oil change
7. Interior is dirty, muddy, greasy, needs serious cleaning.

I'm expecting to get used to the Probe, so I'll try to give the 4Runner enough rest to complete

1. 1st gen roll bar
2. fuel pump, mapecu2, injectors
3. body lift
4. buff/wax

Still waiting for Shrockworks front bumper. It's been fully paid off, nearing 2 1/2 months since order.
