CoB- Spent the past few days reading your thread from start to finish. I've only got one question...do you have a lift installed on your truck?? Just kidding!

I'm really impressed man. You've got a really awesome rig. I started with your thread and just couldn't stop reading....and trust me when I say, it's not an easy thing for something to grab my attention for 3 days! lol You've kept it classy and clean, and I think it's safe to say that you're passion for your truck has inspired many builds. I mean- you've pretty much achieved T-4r.org rockstar status!

Anyways, I look forward to seeing your upcoming updates. Once again....sweet rig, awesome thread. You've given me alot of really good ideas for my Runner. Thank you.

CoB - I'm new to the forum and I've been reading over your thread for the past couple of days. I have to give you a round of applause for all work you've put in to your T4R. I have a 2002 T4R SR5 2wd and have been contemplating a 4wd swap for a while now. Your thread has given me even more motivation to get to work. I hope one of these days I'll finally be able to get started, and maybe even get to pick your brain for a little info. Can't wait to see what you do next.

Popped a CV axle for the first time. Out wheeling with @4Running Daily. Pretty stupid mistake, but it was a learning experience. The worst part about it was getting home, 62 miles away.

Back to DD'ing the Probe until August 15.

I drove out there only to pick up some tires, so getting home was pretty weird. Basically bungee corded/strapped the CV to the control arm. It worked well enough to keep speed up. Drove it home 62 miles like this, on the freeway even.

A few slices of Pizza and I went home. Thanks Connor for the tires. It was nice meeting you finally.

little tip from a guy who's busted too many: take the two ends of that busted one and clean them up and keep them in the truck- if you bust a CV and don't have a spare you can plug the diff with one side and hold the bearings together with the other side and get home. You can even still use 4WD, although without a front locker it'll be somewhat pointless, but 2LO helps greatly for limping out of a trail, especially with your rear locked.

Contacted NAPA for a replacement, but they would not do the transaction without a receipt. It wasn't in my receipt folder, which sucked pretty hard. I bought some lifetime warranty China axles, only I threw out the warranty. I called Napa Online... thankfully they sent me a copy. Not even my NAPA account showed invoices after 90 days.

Also replaced the bushings on that end link with Energy Suspension polyurethane ones, to match the rest of the end links.

Peeled the faded plastidip/clearcoat off of the flares. Repainted with SEM Trim Black.

My friend David's truck. Did an oil change and DRL disable mod on it. Cleaned and oiled K&N air cone filters on both trucks.

P0420 never went away completely after finishing up with the exhaust leak. The catalytic converter must be going bad.

My catalytic converter was made by Magnaflow. The spot welds on the heat shields broke many moons ago. Their poor quality products lead me to believe that the cat is faulty for similar reasons as usual.

Pictured here is the new cat, replaced for free through LC Engineering. LCE is a model company that has customer service that MagnaBlow could learn from. The folks at LC Engineering know how to treat a customer right, hence why I continue to buy from them.

The code hasn't come back yet. I plan to install this cat on my red 87 turbo for smog... you know, before I straight pipe that shit

Thanks to [MENTION=85535]TRDteen[/MENTION] for these TRD mats. These are from a '13 Taco. They're not a perfect fit but they're pretty close.

I like the contrast of the black, and the OEM mats weren't looking so good anymore. I want a set of Digital Fit liners from Weathertech someday so these might get swapped into the Turbo truck later on.
