Hey OP, thanks for the hard work you put in here. It cracks me up reading all the micro dissection of spring rates by everyone in here. Its like we are making chassis setups for a Nascar cup car or an F-1 car. But with that being said, Im no better then the many in here as Im also ocd when it comes to shock/spring/& bar rates and setups.
I recently updated my setup to include the Toytec/Eibach 2" 620lb front springs. I set the Bilsteins to max lift with no additional spacers up front. In the rear, I chose the OME 895's and the Bilstein 5100's with no spacers. I will agree with some on here, this combo is a little firm when the rig is empty but. I will say this, I chose this package specifically for MY needs. Right now, my T4R handles excellent on the street. We all know how much our oem t4r's floated all over the freeways. Im a sporting type of driver, on and off road. Off road and when I air down the tires, this thing handles like a Rally car on fast powerline roads, small whoops tight twisty stuff ect. Going slow in 4low crawling, yes its a little bit stiff, but only when I have no cargo (off road gear) food, passengers, dogs ect. But again, as long as I air down, which everyone needs to do to let the tires and motor do their jobs and be patient, my rig does everything I have asked it, and does it better than many other types of rigs. I enjoy driving this t4r much more now than before.
The first question I ask my customers when doing a chassis setup is; "what will you be using the vehicle for, and how will you be driving the vehicle on and off road?" Thanks for the hard work and thanks for reading. Happy wheeling@
