I am going to try and make it like Scott said. Its a big trip for me after getting back from Rome first week of September. If I do come I'll bring my AR, R700, and silencer so we can ring some steel "quietly"

The more I think about relocating to Florida the more I realize it was a big mistake. Should have stayed in PA and this trip would have been a no-brainer. I'll keep y'all posted.

Who has a hookup for 556? Because I'd much rather bring the AR but don't have a whole lot of 556 I can shoot 223 also so it doesn't matter

[MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION] doesn't like bugs. Gingers (me) don't like temperature extremes. The weather last year was dry and moderate during the daytime and colder during the night.... tip... if you tent camp, have a mat between you and the ground (or you and your air mattress). Ask me how I know.

Year #1 it was 28 degrees the first night- I loved it but froze to the point that the first thing I bought when I got home was a brand new sleeping bag!

Year #2 it was hot as hell with stinkbugs and (apparently) spiders all over the place - I hate warm weather camping.

Year#3 was perfect perfect weather- nice and chilly at night and maybe a light jacket during the day.

Year#4 we shall see!

Now that I have a new boss (thanks for the well wishes Dave)...I've already been informed "there's no no way in hell you're doing 4 events next year"....I just try to explain to her, this maverick can't be bridled.

We had so much fun at the Mid Atlantic Overland Festival, it's going to be hard to beat it at the Vermont Overland Rally...see you in October?
