After [MENTION=89641]crapper1979[/MENTION] pulled me out of the hole.

We had a great time this year. Thanks to Jeff for making the arrangements with the Cove to make this happen again!

Duratracs- LT265/70R17 load E running at 15 psi in this video. I don't think they hardly spun in all that muck!

You got some good video Jeff! Mostly of the back of my truck lol! But this is better than photos to show the trails. I feel like pictures sometimes do a poor job of showing the terrain and it's hard to tell what it's actually like. [emoji6]

Made it back to Colorado this afternoon, had a blast with everyone, wish I could have stayed another day. I have some decent photos as well, I'll start going through them... Tomorrow.

The only pictures I took at the Cove

So because there was no service I didn't even bother bringing my phone along with me the entire weekend. But as I was packing up Sunday this guy came walking up to the camp site asking if anyone had 4WD (at the time only myself and [MENTION=125487]RaisedByWolves[/MENTION] were around). I graciously decided to help him out because I wanted to see the mess he had gotten himself into. So I drove about 2 miles to where he was stuck, back up and threw him my tow rope (I wasn't about to get dirty now, I was leaving 15 minutes later). I guess it's a Jeep thing....

Headed to the Camp Overlook at The Cove- UP the back way and DOWN the main trail.

This is a trail anyone camping with us can conquer easily!

I graciously decided to help him out because I wanted to see the mess he had gotten himself into. So I drove about 2 miles to where he was stuck, back up and threw him my tow rope (I wasn't about to get dirty now, I was leaving 15 minutes later). I guess it's a Jeep thing....

I thought that was pretty much trail etiquette...the stuckee is the one that gets dirty when receiving help from the gracious 4WD driver offering to help them get unstuck?

It was funny, there weren't even any trail editions! Every truck was an sr5 or limited, there was the token jeep to make fun of though! :clap2:

Kidding aside, a great bunch of people there and I'd drive across the country in a heartbeat to go again! I'd suggest good skids and sliders since those crazy fools still get lost after 4 years of going out there.

Upon inspection tonight after a wash I bent the edge of my transmission skid, RCI steel! Course a better driver probably would have missed the rock I came down on...

How did the Limited's do? I have a new 2015 Limited stock and wasn't sure it would (or I) would be up to it. Looks like you all had a great time.

A stock limited would not have made it on the trail where we got lost or where 4rnrgirl got high centered. I admit that I'm not a great driver off-road but clearance and/or armor were needed at least in spots. There are other less intense trails based on the videos Antman posted though.

It's still an awesome time, if you live within a one day drive you should go, heck I rode along with Antman for one trail. I started thinking about how my wheeling would be over for a long time if I broke something and had to tell my wife I wasn't making it home on time!!!!

He gave it a go with less than 10k miles on his truck, I know I wasn't even thinking about trails that early! I have a good picture of his truck going up towards the first obstacle on the trail we got lost but can't post it for some reason...
