Sooo sorry to keep bugging y'all. Another problem. I have no space after putting the bushings and washers in. I can't get the top nut to grab. Only 2 washers came with the back shock and 2 bushings. The video y'all recommended said there is a black washer which I just used off old shock. But I'm out of room.

you have the bottom washer on top of the bottom bushing. It should be under it, and what is under it that looks like a black washer?? It should be from the bottom, washer-bushing then the tophat, then bushing-washer-nut on the top. Make sure you only have one bushing on top of the tophat and one below. Also, one of those bushings goes through the hole of the tophat to protect the shock shaft.

Thanks T-man, is there a drawing of the rear shock and bushing diagram? The picture above w/shock bushing, and the black washer you asked about is the rear shock. I used that black washer on the bottom because that's the way it is set up on the rear shock. Only 2 washers and 2 bushing and a nut came with rear shock. So I figured I would just use the black washer from old set up. Is this incorrect? I'm sorry to keep asking stupid questions, but I'm already in, so bear with me guys. I'm almost done.

Oh gotcha! I should've realized that. So, you have your shock, then a washer slides down the threaded shaft, a bushing, then it goes through the frame mount. Then a bushing above frame mount, washer and finally nut to tighten it down. So,
Shock>washer>bushing>mount>bushing>washer>nut in that order. Make sense?

I have heard of other people saying they had issues getting the Moog FJ rear coils to fit into the rear 4Runner spring seats properly, not sure on their resolution. What is on your coil in the red square? Looks like the coil is cracked.

Paint scratch. When compressed down, the top popped out of place. I'll keep eye on this, and install the best I can, and bring it to a shop for tweeking

Hmm I'm not sure on that. Biggest issue if it isn't fitting well is if you flex it out all the way the coil could flop out. Normal driving shouldn't be an issue. Someone will chime in here I'm sure.

I messaged him saying the same thing, like you I couldn't see anything wrong. I think he expected it to seat perfectly on the mount and stand up on its own but they don't you just gotta hold it place and Jack the axle back up into place and that the weight of the rig will hold it in place.

Hello!! I'm OCD to da bone y'all!! Thanks, picked up my Prozac and ready to get r done!! Thanks to you all for putting up with me. But this proves that Anyone can do this with this thread. I might have a pay it forward 1.5 daystar to somebody in financial need. Going to let my coils settle for a bit, and if not needed, I'll post it up for grabs.

Now, going to fix the front coils and bushings in the morning. Going to try the non-compresser suicide machine, and use the weight of the car. Might as well give it a shot. Hell, took me forever and might as well claim all the work myself. Please keep me in your prayers and send good juju my way. And then I will stop blowing this thread up.
