Convenience items/accessories

Steering Wheel Cover (wish I had done this sooner, as I only got a leather cover sewn on after the plastic on the steering wheel had started to decay... the leather sewn on is really nice)

Which cover did you go with? This is on my list as my steering wheel slowly peels away...

Eiseng Steering Wheel Cover for 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 Toyota Tacoma / 2014-2020 Tundra Sequoia / 2010-2020 4Runner Interior Accessories DIY Black Genuine Leather (Red thread)

A bit tedious to install, but feels great. Not as simple as a slip on, but it's 100% secure once installed. I'm no expert with leather, so the back area (where paddle shifters might go), isn't perfect but the main wheel is great to look at and great in the hand.

Was this something you had done at a local upholstery shop, or is there something out there I need to buy? This is probably at the top of my short list of annoying things about my awesome T4R.

Local upholstery shop. He wasn't cheap but I don't sweat anywhere near as much and it looks like factory. IIRC, I paid close to $500 but it sure beats seat covers.

Cockpit:
Glovebox organizer
Center Console Tray
Driver side USB port (phone mount is on left side if steering wheel)
Entertainment console start up image change

Backseat:
Bench seat cover for dirty dogs

Trunk/Rear:
Cargo cover (street park in a city)
Collapsible trunk organizer (bungee straps, socket set, ratchet straps, paper towels, rags, gloves, wet wipes)
First aid kit
Costco cardboard box
Hitch Cover
Cargo net (repurposed from 1996 Windstar)
Bike Rack

Other than bike rack and cargo cover all those "mods" are under $50 and added tremendous convenience to the truck.

Add the Blue Ridge Overland Gear Molle Visor pouch to the list as well
MOLLE Visor Organizer | Black
– Blue Ridge Overland Gear

As far as center console and glove box dividers go I went with Salex. They were actually one of the first ones to produce them for our 4Runners and then all the chinese companies came out with them on Amazon. They're a forum vendor and are made in Colorado.

Oh and don't forget the Covercraft sunshade. Fits perfectly and keeps the car cooler and protects your dash in hot, sunny summers.
