Crunch goes the tree....

i had a front end collision on mine, almost 18k worth of damage. took 4 3/4 months to get my truck back and i still had to make a couple trips in to get a few things fixed that i found that they didnt.

not an easy truck to repair.

I ended up ordering a Prinsu full rack, as after having the entire roof cut out and re-welded in place, who cares about two new holes I drill ha :biggrin2:

It's always nice to see a story with a happy ending.

Well, not sure if happy yet ha but this ended up in my driveway:

Repair of my 4Runner did not go well, bottom line. Went to pick it up Friday and I didn't make it half a mile before having to return with multiple electrical issues not to mention the "to be fixed" appearance stuff. I'll leave it at that, VERY frustrated.

At this point I was done, and body shop did help secure proper trade in value for my 4Runner (pre damage value). Not wanting to come out of pocket and liking the Tacoma restyle it was simplest to go this route. Insurance should have simply totaled this one from the start, what a mess.

Will definitely keep my eye on the 4Runners when they redesign, but for now this is what I ended up with at the end of the story due to the tree.

Best wishes all
