Custom Radiator Stone Guard

I picked up some mesh from ebay 12" x 40", I wanted to darken up the grill opening because I didn't like seeing the radiator through the grill, also to guard against rocks hitting the radiator.
I tried taking off the bumper to do this, but 2013 instructions didn't work. I think the 2014's are different. I could not get the bumper off, so did it with the bumper attached, took way longer than expected, about 5hrs. But overall it looks good. I chose the small little holes to match the Toyota emblem, but maybe a diamond mesh might have looked good too.

Condenser Guard?

Unless they moved the condenser behind the radiator,the guard looks good but it seems to restrict air flow to your cooling system and IMO the grill seems to function as a deflector for rocks to avoid putting holes in your condenser.If ever you go wheelin in a muddy area it could block all the holes and cause you to overheat.Just my 2 pennies.

Airflow wise, this is really no different than the Satoshi grill mods people do, I haven't heard of any overheating or mud build up issues with that mod.

looks sharp. one of the things that bugged my about the '14 was how open the grille was, so you've definitely made an improvement in my eyes. hope you didn't spend too much on fleebay for that metal though, in a city like Seattle I'm sure there would have been a local place you could get a small piece. here's mine.
