CVT tents and my concerns

I'm 6'5 250lbs. These tents look awesome. I want one. But, will I break it if my lady and I are in there? What if we are getting busy? Can I mess up the 4Runner? They make me paranoid....as you might be able to see.

I have the Tepui Ayer (2-person tent) on my 2016 TRD Pro 4runner, mounted on Thule square bars, which is attached to the OE roof bars. We off-road pretty heavily, so dynamic load not setup or in it. I have had no issues. Setup, with my wife, myself and dog up top coming in around +/- 300lbs it is rock solid. You can always call CVT and ask what they rate their tents at, but I think you'll be fine.

You really do not have one single thing that you need to be worried about.

Yep, you're fine, dynamic load is different than static load. I've filmed on top of my truck with a 150lb camera setup and my fat ass plus another person working the focus and and it's been fine.

Oh the woes of buying a 4Runner without kdss. Now the tent won't even work

I cram a family of four in my Tepui Kukenam Sky, granted my wife and I are a combined 290lbs and our 5 and 7 year old weigh 84lbs combined. We sleep with one kid between us and one perpendicular at an end, I think you'll be fine. Even when the Runner is a rockin', haha.

Careful on the ladder when you've had a few, don't ask how I know.

If she's ballerina that's tipping the scales at 100, you'll be fine. If she's 6' 5" and 250, you may honestly have an issue once the Beats Between the Sheets Pandora station fires up.

Im only 5'8 185 and when I get busy with your lady my tent holds up just fine:boxing:
