Dash Cam Fuse Help

Hey Guys/Gals,

Ive been searching our forum and have not found an accurate answer regarding fuses.. Here is the story:

Planning on purchasing this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TGQ1Y3Q/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 with a Vantrue X1 DashCam..

I am planning on hardwiring the Dash Cam using that hardwired device i linked... I investigated our fuse box and can only pinpoint the Power Seat fuse as a consistent on.. To the best of my knowledge using the wires it converts the power to 5v to which it shouldn't drain my battery as much.. Any tips or tricks?

I am a noob so any electrical/fuse guru please correct me.

Thank you

As far as which fuse to use, there are a few empty slots in the fuse box that are "power always on". I used one when I installed a DSP, but can't remember which one. A voltmeter will help identify them.
