Dash rattle after recall airbag replaced

Just had the passenger air bag recall replaced a few weeks ago by the dealer. Now there is a rattle in the driver side dash when the car is running between 40-60mph. Back at the dealer and they are trying to figure it out. Anyone have this problem after the air bag was replaced?

ive also noticed a slight rattle going between the same speeds on the left side of the dash but couldnt figure out where exactly it was. its very hard to notice even with the music off in the car.

Another member on here had the screws left out of his airbag, just a thought

I was lucky, no rattles after airbag change, but my rear window switch quit working and there is a line on the dash where the new airbag is.

Seems like most people are having issues with this recall. I'm thinking just disable the airbag and try stopping short with the passenger.

They probably just forgot to plug it back in when putting console back together! I'm not sure if you have checked that yet, but I would try that first! Seems like all the dealers are replacing the airbags by different methods and not by one single list of instructions.

Dealership experiences

Anyone in the Austin,TX metro area have any recommendations for which dealership to go with to get the airbag swapped out...

There was at least one member that ended up with a sizable hump in the dash above where the passenger airbag sits; and another that found his truck rather dirty with a couple of grease like smudges on the dash and carpet as I remember. I plan to take pics before I take mine in.
