Dash trim piece rattle.

Anyone know how to remove this round trim piece on center of dash near window? It's the 3/4 round plug in the photo. I think it's for a sensor on the Limited. Every time I hit a bump I can hear it click. I put my finger on it and there is a little bit of play. I wanted to remove it to see if the sound goes away.

Hi Brian,

That round plug is just a cover piece (Blank-off) where the Auto-headlight sensor would be installed if your truck had that feature. Using a small pocket screw-driver, just try to simply lift it out of the sensor bay; looks like perhaps a piece of the latch broke off leaving you with the sound of the broken plastic rattling around in the cavity! You can get a new one from your local Toyota dealership's parts department!
